Organizing documents (copying, moving, deleting, preview and download)

To give you more freedom to organize your content as you wish, we implemented an option to transfer or copy documents from one set to another. You can move them around and place them wherever it makes the most sense to you! You can manually select the articles you want and simply use the “Copy” or “Move” buttons visible above the articles list. You can also use the “Delete” button to delete articles from the list.

Full-Text PDF Viewer in RSpace

The PDF Viewer feature in RSpace allows users to preview the full-text content of documents directly within their Datasets—without the need to open a new browser tab or visit an external website. This functionality is designed to streamline your research experience by giving you immediate access to the material you need, all within the RSpace environment.

When a document includes full-text content, a dedicated icon will appear on the right-hand side of the document entry within your Dataset. This icon indicates that the document is ready for in-app preview.

How to Use the PDF Viewer

In your Dataset, look to the right side of each listed document. If a small full-text icon is visible, this means the full text of the paper is available for preview.

Double-click on the document itself to open its detailed view.

Once opened, you will see a “Preview PDF” button near the top of the interface.

After a short loading time, the full content of the document will be displayed directly within your RSpace window.

Additional PDF Viewer Options

The PDF Viewer includes a range of tools to help you engage with full-text content more effectively. These options are located in the top-right corner of the PDF view:

Highlight Text – Mark and highlight important parts of the document. You can also deselect your highlight at any time to revert the text to its original state.

Select Text – Select text content directly from the PDF. This allows you to directly copy the specific text you wish to work with.

Download PDF – Save the full-text file locally.

Presentation Mode – View the document in a clean, full-screen layout for improved readability.

Additionally, you can choose between previewing the paper or viewing its full content using the toggle available on the left side of the screen when the preview is open.

Note: If the PDF icon is not visible in your Dataset, the document does not contain full-text content and cannot be previewed.
