Iris.ai is working on developing ML driven software tools for assisting scientists throughout their challenging work endeavours. The ultimate goal is to build a fully fledged science assistant machine that can read and understand scientific articles. Our current and future employees are building software that can read and understand text, build knowledge graphs and causal relations between documents, do inference on top to connect the dots and give suggestions for future innovation. Our developers throughout their work are utilizing the fruits of our own machine learning research, combining it together with the cutting-edge open source frameworks provided by top companies such as Amazon, Google, Facebook and Nvidia and deploying the results on the Amazon AWS infrastructure to further develop our distributed cloud-based machine learning software system.

Description:
In this role, with our business team, you will work with multiple stakeholders, doing requirements engineering, growth analysis, and facilitating the collaboration with our tech team. You will be directly impacting our customers’ experience.  You will be expected to cooperate with your peer developers and researchers in order to ensure a result that makes our users happy. You will participate in shaping the engineering processes, design, growth hacking, and beyond to launch impactful projects. You’ll grow personally and professionally through mentorship, collaboration, global experience, and hands-on learning.

Main responsibilities:

• Work daily in an Agile environment clarifying business requirements, removing roadblocks, and supporting an alignment around our product strategy.
• Support creating and maintaining the backlog (including prioritization and acceptance criteria).
• You will take an active role in analyzing and optimizing the internal development processes
• Help communicate stakeholder visions and desired outcomes to the engineering team under proper guidance.
• Contribute to team planning and set expectations for the delivery of new capabilities, features, and functionalities.
• Participate in team demos, retrospectives, and all other ceremonies.
• Facilitate User Acceptance Testing sessions.
• Support building the product roadmap at the team level based on strategy and ongoing input from stakeholders.

Skills and Experience Required:

• 2+ years of professional experience in a technology company, or on a marketing team
• 1+ years of experience as a Business Requirements Analyst or similar experience in Program Management
• 1+ years of demonstrable experience writing product requirements
• Experience in Agile software development and familiarity with tools like Asana
• Ability to interact and communicate with multiple stakeholders
• Excellent communications, interpersonal, and presentation skills
• Ability to present and transfer knowledge to others
• Ability to work in a distributed team environment 
• Proficient analytical / problem-solving skills
• Fluent English

Any of these is a plus:

• Hands on experience crafting and delivering product strategies for SaaS products
• Hands-on experience with growth analytics and growth campaign management technologies
• Working understanding of data infrastructure principles and experience working with engineering teams
• Interest in AI/ML technologies and their applications
• Participation in research projects (academic or industrial)
