Business developer: digitalisation of chemistry

January 30, 2020

Apply

We are looking for a driven business developer with a love for sales and closing deals.

As we expand our tool offerings, we are looking for a driven, curious and entrepreneurial minded human for our business development team. Your tasks will be an equal mix of client interaction for learning purposes, direct sales, sales strategy, contract negotiations, client delivery and future tool iteration ideation.

We are currently expanding our markets into the chemical industry, selling a suite of powerful tools to chemical R&D departments in industry. The tools are per date in the shape of Proof of Concept collaboration, partially customized to each client, though the first set of ‘productified’ tools are under development. You will be joining the company at an exciting time where you will play an essential part in both selling in PoC projects and learning from our clients to contribute to the product specifications, and shaping the future offerings and sales strategies.

We believe founders should be doing a lot of the initial selling themselves, so we are looking for someone with drive and willingness to grow, who is excited to learn on the job alongside us and grow into an independent rockstar as the products and processes mature.

If you in addition to being a wonderful human and a kick-ass business developer have any, some or all of the following superpowers, we will especially love you:

  • software sales experience
  • chemistry knowledge
  • startup experience
  • german language skills

You should be comfortable with a large degree of remote work, and quite a bit of traveling. Ideally you are located in central Europe or at least near a major transportation hub.

Salary and equity package to be agreed upon.
